I guess I have to make a confession to you at this point. I don’t like Twilight, I never watch True Blood or Vampire Diaries or any other series that follow the trend of the moment: Vampires. And so maybe it is surprising for you that I promote a Vampire film as the third one on this Webpage, but Let Me In is different - in every way. The first sentence in my head after I came out of the Cinema was: This is the better Twilight. The parallels are that it is a love story, the main characters are under aged and one of them is a vampire. But besides that is not cheesy at all, the acting is awesome and well, there are no sex scenes.
At first I want to ask you a question: How good is Chloë Grace Moretz, hm? She is not only stunningly beautiful (that girl is 14) she is also so talented! She was already great in one of my other favorites Kick Ass, but in Let Me In she really kicks-ass! She seems at the same time so fragile and strong… I foresee a great future for her (if she manages to stay away from drugs of course).

But also her partner Kodi Smit-McPhee (that you could now from The Road) is convincing! All in all it is these two that make this remake from the Norwegian original Låt den rätte komma in (Let The Right One In) from 2008 so worth seeing. Of course the story is great, too. So don’t be scared, forget Edward and Bella and enjoy this bloody good movie!
